Aqui les tenemos nuestra segunda entrevista exclusiva, esta ocasión tuvimos la oportunidad de platicar con Gene Simmons y Paul Hayeland, disfrutenla!.

KISS Army México: Gene y Paul, por primera vez en México estamos haciendo un KISS Army en http://www.kissmexico.com tenemos más de 700 miembros registrados hasta ahora en solo dos meses!, las membresías y el kit de bienvenida son gratis, les enviaremos las suyas por correo, no estamos haciendo negocio con esto pero estamos haciendo una familia de KISS en México, ¿Qué pueden decir a todos estos fans?.

KISS Army México: Gene and Paul for the first time in México we are doing a KISS Army in http://www.kissmexico.com, we have more than 700 members registered so far in just two months!, memberships and welcome kit are free, we will send yours by mail, we are not doingbusiness with this but we are doing a KISS family in México, what can you say to all this fans?.

Gene Simmons: México es uno de nuestros lugares favoritos para ir de gira.. Los fans son increibles y realmente nos tratan con mucho respeto.. sentimos que somos bienvenidos todo el tiempo.

Gene Simmons: México is one of our favorite place to tour.. The fans are incredible and they really treat us with great respect.. We feel like we are welcome all the time.

KISS Army México: Gene y Paul, ¿Cómo se les ocurrió la idea de vender bajos de Gene firmados o tocados en escenario durante los conciertos?.

KISS Army México: Gene and Paul, how do you come up with the idea of selling Gene signed basses or played on-stage basses during the concerts?.

Gene Simmons: Le pedí a Paul hace muchos años que trajera una nueva idea para vender mi bajo Axe y ambos decidimos ofrecer un único estuche pintado.. Luego Paul pensó en llevar el Axe Bus a seguir la gira de KISS y ofrecer a los fans el comprar mi Axe o Punisher y conocerme en el Axe Bus.. Todos los que compran uno de mis bajos pueden conocerme y tener una experiencia para toda la vida.

Paul Hayeland: Si, todos aquellos que compren un bajo pueden traer a su familia entera o amigos al Axe Bus y conocer a Gene.. Y pueden tomar fotografías, obtener autógrafos.. Gene bromea con todos los fans y luego el comprador tiene oportunidad de ir al backstage y tomar más fotos con Gene con maquillaje justo antes de ir al escenario.. Es un momento muy divertido.

Gene Simmons: I asked Paul many years ago to come up with a new idea to sell my Axe Bass and we both decided to offer a unique painted case.. Then Paul thought of getting a Axe Bus to follow the kiss tour and offer the fans of buying my Axe or Punisher and meeting me on the Axe Bus.. Everyone who purchases one of my basses can meet me and have an experience of a lifetime

Paul hayeland: Yes, everyone who buys a bass can bring their family or friends on the Axe Bus and meet Gene.. And they can take photographs get autographs.. Gene jokes around with all the fans and then the buyer get to go backstage and take more photos with Gene in makeup right before he goes on stage.. It’s a great fun time.

KISS Army México: Paul, pero después de esa idea creaste una completa experiencia de vida para los fans, no sólo venden bajos firmados, ¿Qué otra cosa puede obtener el comprador?.

KISS Army México: Paul, but after that idea you just create a complete life experience for the fans, you are not just selling signed basses, what else the buyer can get?.

Paul Hayeland: Los fans pueden comprar unos cuantos nuevos artículos de Gene como un marco de decoración firmado por Gene y la Caja de Concierto de KISS.. Estamos negociando un acuerdo para tener las toallas usadas en el escenario por KISS, baquetas, correas de guitarra, copa de sangre de Gene - todo junto en una linda caja que toda la banda firmará.. Rodrigo vino con esta increible idea y a Gene le gusta mucho.

Paul Hayeland: Fans will be offered a few new items from Gene like a frame decor signed by Gene and a KISS Stage Concert Box.. we are negotiating a deal to have the KISS stage used towels, drum sticks, guitar straps, Genes blood cup - all together in a very nice box that the band will all sign.. Rodrigo came up with that incredible idea and Gene likes it a lot.

KISS Army México: Paul, sabemos que tienes un representante en México y Latinoamérica (Rodrigo Acuña), ¿Alguna vez has pensado que estos bajos firmados podrían ser muy costosos para estos mercados?, ¿Crees que se pueda vender el AXE2 y en Punisher2 firmados a un costo menor?.

KISS Army México: Paul, we know that you have a representative in Mexico and Latin America (Rodrigo Acuña), have you ever consider that signed basses could be very expensive for these markets? Do you think you can sell the AXE2 and the Punisher2 signed basses in a lower price?.

Paul Hayeland: Si, estamos trabajando en un nuevo diseño que será menos costoso.. Los bajos pintados serán diseñados por un artista que hará 5 diferentes modelos para el Axe y para el Punisher.. Serán costosos pero las ediciones limitadas deberán costar mucho menos.. Estos se ofrecerán con o sin el autógrafo de Gene Simmons.. La gente así obtendrá una pieza de memorabilia a precio accesible que durará para siempre.

Paul Hayeland: Yes we are working on a new design that will be less expensive.. The painted basses will be designed by an artist that will have 5 different designs for the Axe and Punisher.. These will be expensive but the limited editions should cost much less.. These will be offered with or without the Gene Simmons autograph.. People then will have a piece of affordable Gene Simmons memorabilia that will last forever.

KISS Army México: Paul, esperamos que KISS visite México con el próximo tour, si ellos lo hacen, ¿Va a haber meet & greet con Gene si la gente compra el bajo?.

KISS Army México: Paul, we hope that KISS visits Mexico with the next tour, if they do it is going to be meet and greet with Gene if people buy the bass?.

Paul Hayeland: Si, Rodrigo Acuña estará autorizado para hacer muchas ofertas especiales para toda la KISS Army mexicana.. Gene y yo, ambos sabemos que los bajos son mucho dinero y trataremos de venderlos a los mejores precios para que todos puedan comprarlo.

Paul Hayeland: Yes, Rodrigo Acuña, will be authorized to make many special deals for all of the Mexican KISS Army.. Gene and I both know that the basses are a lot of money and we will try to sell them at the best prices for everyone to afford.

KISS Army México: Paul, tú estuviste por toda Europa con el tour Sonic Boom y también en Canadá y los Estados Unidos con el tour Hottest Show On Earth, ¿Qué sientes al conocer a un fan un par de horas antes del concierto, verlos nerviosos y preguntando millones de cosas acerca de qué va a pasar, y luego de eso verlos como cambian sus caras cuando conocen a Gene?, tú estás haciendo sueños realidad.

KISS Army México: Paul you drove all around Europe with the Sonic Boom tour and also Canada and the US with The Hottest Show On Earth tour, how does it feel to meet a fan a couple of hours before the concert, see them nervous and asking a million questions about what it is going to happen, and after that see them how they change their faces when they meet Gene, you are making dreams come true.

Paul Hayeland: He estado en mas de 20 paises con Gene Simmons en backstage y en el Axe Bus con muchos fans.. Algunos fans de hecho lloran porque están muy nerviosos cuando conocen a Gene.. Le traen regalos de sus paises y a Gene le gustn mucho.. Los fans tienen muchas historias que contar acerca de cómo crecieron escuchando a KISS y viendolos en conciertos o en TV.. Cuando al fin conocen a Gene es como un sueño hecho realidad.. Graban cada momento y lo ven una y otra vez.. Los niños se convierten en fans de KISS en sus primeros años de su vida porque sus padres son grandes fans y los traen a conocer a Gene también.. Gene ama a los niños casi tanto como ama a a las mujeres.. Es muy divertido tener a niños en el backstage.

Paul Hayeland: I have been to over 20 countries with Gene Simmons backstage and on the Axe Bus with many fans.. Some fans actually cry because they are so nervous when the meet Gene.. They bring him presents from their own countries and Gene like the gifts very much.. Fans have so many stories to tell about how they grew up listening to KISS and watching them in concert or on TV.. When they actually meet Gene it’s like a dream come true.. They video tape every moment and watch it over and over.. Kids become KISS fans right from the early ages of their lives, because the parents are huge fans and they get to meet Gene too.. Gene loves the kids almost as much as he loves the ladies.. Kids are always fun to have backstage.

KISS Army México: Gene, sabemos que el bajo AXE es un ícono tuyo, pero siempre tocas más el punisher durante los conciertos, ¿Qué puedes decirnos al respecto?.

KISS Army México: Gene we know that the AXE bassit's an icon of you, but you always play more the Punisher during a concert? What can you tell us about that?.

Gene Simmons: El Punisher es mas cómodo para tocar.. Es un poco más ligero que el AXE.. El AXE es usado para que el Demonio sangre en él.. Trato de tocar ambos tanto como puedo.

Gene Simmons: The Punisher is more comfortable to play.. It’s a little lighter than the AXE.. The AXE is used for the Demon to bleed on.. I try to play both as much as I can.

KISS Army México: Paul, sabemos que el nuevo KISS Mini Golf abrirá el 15 de Marzo, tú has estado ahí, ¿Qué puedes decirnos de lo que se ve ahí? Sabemos que el hoyo 18 será temático de Gene, pero ¿Qué más tiene el complejo? ¿Vas a vender meet and greet con Gene de bajos para la gran apertura?.

KISS Army México: Paul, we know that the new KISS Mini Golf will open on March 15th, you have been there, what can you tell us about what you see there? We know that 18th hole will be themed about Gene, but what else does the complex will have? You are going to be selling meet and greet with Gene and basses for the grand opening?.

Paul Hayeland: Si, Ahí estaré.. El nuevo KISS Monster Mini Golf va a ser un gran museo también.. Va a tener muchos artículos de KISS de todas partes del mundo.. Parecido al Hard Rock Café pero solo con memorabilia de KISS.. Habrá una gran bota del Star Cild para poner tu pelota de golf y una gran lengua de Gene.. Habrá una capilla de bodas donde cualquiera podrá casarse.. El hoyo 18 es completamente dedicado a Gene Simmons y tendremos a Rodrigo Acuña dandole un toque personal.. Él tendrá muchos videos de Gene Simmons y su experiencia cuando conoció a Gene.. También para unos pocos afortunados fans que se inscribieron para comprar un Axe o un Punisher, Gene les ofrece conocerlo en la fiesta privada VIP dentro del Museo de Memorabilia.. Solo se ofrecen 10 bajos.

Paul Hayeland: Yes I will be there.. The new KISS Monster Mini Golf is going to be a big KISS museum too.. They will have many KISS items there from all over the world.. Kind of like a Hard Rock Café but all KISS memorabilia.. There will be Star Child’s big boot to putt your golf ball through and Gene‘s big tongue to putt into.. There will be a wedding chapel there where anyone can get married.. The 18th hole is dedicated to Gene Simmons and will have Rodrigo Acuña’s personal touch added to it.. He will have many videos of Gene Simmons and his experience when he has met Gene.. Also, for only a few lucky fans who sign up to buy an Axe or Punisher,Gene will offer to meet him in a private VIP party inside the Memorabilia Museum..Only 10 basses are offered..

KISS Army México: Paul, ¿Qué puedes decirnos de los bajos personalizados de Gentry Riley's? ¿Son muy limitados? Y también de los platos, ¿Gene escribe sobre ellos? ¿Habrá nuevos items a la venta en un futuro cercano?

KISS Army México: Paul, what can you tell us about Gentry Riley's custom paint basses? they are very limited right? and also about the plates? Gene writes on them? There are going to be more new items for sale in the near future?

Paul Hayeland: Gene ha decidido hacer nuevos diseños para el Axe y el Punisher, contratamos a Gentry Riley para hacer algunos diseños del Demonio y pintarlos en el bajo.. Él tiene mucho talento y vino con estos diseños increibles.. Gene tendrá algunos originales hechos para los mejores coleccionistas. Luego también tendremos ediciones limitadas para que los puedan tener todos.. Vendrán firmados y numerados en cantidades limitadas. Obtengan el suyo contactandose con Rodrigo Acuña.

Paul Hayeland: Gene has decided to make some new designs for the axe and punisher bass,, we hired Gentry Riley to make some cool demon looking designs and pain them on the basses.. He is very talented and has come up within incredible designs.. Gene will only have a few originals made for the best collectors. Then we will also make limited editions for all collectors to afford.. They will be signed and numbered in limited quantity.. Get yours nowby contacting Rodrigo Acuña.

KISS Army México: Gene sabemos que este tour durará mas de un año, tienes planes de tocar en México de nuevo pronto con el tour Monster?

KISS Army México: Gene we know that tour will last more than a year, you have plans to play in Mexico again soon with Monster tour?

Gene Simmons: SI MÉXICO ESTARÁ EN EL PROGRAMA SEGURO, VIVA MEXICO!!!!

Gene Simmons: YES MEXICO WILL BE ON THE SCHEDULE FOR SURE, VIVA MEXICO!!!!

KISS Army México: Gene, ¿Cómo ves a los fans mexicanos y al mercado mexicano como compradores? ¿Es un mercado interesante para KISS como marca o crees que los bootlegs y los artículos de venta libre venden más?, aveces es muy dificil encontrar artículos originales en México, ¿Hay algún plan de traer más mercancía o abrir una tienda oficial?.

KISS Army México: Gene, how do you see Mexican fans and Mexican market as buyers? It is an interesting market for KISS as a brand or do you think that bootlegs and counter fit items sells more?, sometimes it is very hard to find original items in Mexico, are there any plans to bring more merchandise or an official store?

Paul Hayeland: Puedo responder esto por Gene.. A él no le gusta nada que no sea real y autentico.. Si no está autorizado por la compañía de KISS entonces él lo considera falso y no parte de la mercancia con la marca KISS.

Paul Hayeland: I can answer this for Gene.. He doesn’t like anything that isn’t real and authentic.. if it isn’t authorized by the KISS Company then he considers it to be fake and not part of the KISS merchandise trademark.
